In the meantime I've installed two wireless routers, one upstairs and the other downstairs, so there's nowhere I can't get a nice strong signal. Bow wow wow wow from one side and hoovering at 8am. Scottish renditions of Madonna's "Holiday" and Outkast's "Hay Ya" from the other. Gone is the smell of dog poo wafting over from next door's garden, and gone is the 17 year old puffed out beefcake in his beaten up Escort, ripping up the road and pumping out his euro-techno-gay-disco crap. So now we're in a nice and quiet close, detached from any neighbouring houses, and our own drive. Ah the peace, and easy parking! We've even got a fridge that does crushed ice on demand! Friday, August 11, 2006 Giving P my old iRiver mp3 player gave me the opportunity to buy a new iPod Nano, and a wireless pedometer thing to record my running sessions on. Stuff the special shoes they expect you to buy to house the transmitter though. I just sliced my trainer's tongue open, slid the transmitter in, and sewed it up again. So now I can have an annoying american woman fade out the music to tell me how far I've run, that my knee's about to pop, or that I've just stepped in dog poo. posted by jpa @ 7:09:00 PM exchanged...
