Wednesday, January 17, 2007 Whilst preparing my salad for lunch I noticed on the bag of Sainsbury's Baby Spinach Leaves, "As Seen On TV". Wtf? Are people stupid enough to buy groceries because they now apparently have celebrity status? Did spinach not exist before television? I must have missed Trevor McSpinach reading the news, or is pukka Oliver now masquarading as Popeye? And as for this "5 a day" crap they keep banging on about, don't even go there. When it does bother charging properly it doesn't light up brightly anything like the picture on the box or website shows. More like a faint glow resembling a very small glow worm. However after about two weeks mine doesn't charge anymore, even after replacing the battery, so Firebox can have the crappy thing back. posted by jpa @ 12:54 PM new year's blog...
