The little man's growing up quickly, especially as he's now eating rice, pears, apples and carrots. So I've had a bit of a tidy in his photo area to make room for some newer shots. Those with a trained eye will observe that I've changed the background colour to dark grey. It's times like these I wish I'd used CSS throughout so I only had one reference to change. Took me flippin' ages updating every page. Now all I need is an audience to notice. :\

Well the battery's all charged and seems to be holding on to it, but then we've only driven to the pub and the supermarket since. I've just re-installed the head unit to see if that sucks the power with everything switched off. Portsmouth tomorrow, so that's when it'll feck about. Be sure to wave as you drive past a black Golf broken down on the A27.

This morning I spent fitting my new car stereo, which included taking the glove box out to drill a hole for the ipod wire. The head unit swap itself was a simple task as it was an Alpine I was taking out, so I could use the same connector and everything. Everything went smoothly (apart from nearly ripping a fingernail off) and the sound and ipod control was very impressive.
In the afternoon the three of us piled in the motor to head out for a walk. Only the car had other ideas and wouldn't turn the engine over due to a flat battery. Tits. With the walk cancelled I've had to cycle to Halfords and blow £38 on a battery charger and get that sorted before I can diagnose the fault. How it can be caused by a new stereo with identical pinouts I don't know. I'm going to get drunk now. :)

I've replaced the navigator with new buttons, completely ripping off the look that Apple.com uses. It was time to ditch some areas of the site that I cba with, such as the "cam" and "files" pages. We're now using the ipcam in the nursery to keep an eye on Will, so it's no longer available on the web for all the dirty pedos to get their thrills with.

The decs are down and packed away for another year, and the site blog's been archived away. So all that's left is to get rid of this stinking cold, then I can crack on with the new year and get back on the exercise wagon. Lordy knows how much lard I've put on over the last two weeks. :S
